sorry to interrupt, but what is the difference between the 2x1.6 from #91308 and the 2x1.6mm flat #91351?
Isn't the kit piston also flat and in millimeters?

Yes but you don't want my opinion, I'm terrible.

The standard car lacked too much forward traction.
Its made of cheap 4mm AlMg4.5mn Aluminium (eventually hard anodized), so i don't think it will be too stiff, but i am trying to do it as stiff as possible to prevent bending. making it flex more is easier as making it flex less I also spoke to the Team C chef north germany and he said that it is important that the car is stiff from front to rear but can flex left to right to help the suspension. I also had his TM2 in my hands and it was very stiff from front to rear but had a good amount of l/r flex. The advantage from aluminium is that it can be bend, which makes the design easier, but carbon usually drives better. (and is wayyy more expensive). It can flex very much without bending, so you can just use a little front-rear brace to reduce the flex in this direction and still have very much l/r flex without having to worry that the chassis tweaks.

So is going from 1.6 to 1.7 require going up 2.5 or 5 weight in oil. Thanks for the help guys. These sat few have posts have been some of the most informitive fr me in understanding what part the piston plays. I really like to know why or why not something works, not just that it does or doesn't.

Yes the larger the holes the thicker you go up in oil

Actually I meant how much thicker or is it not consistent?

I'm going to build my new kit with a lot of avid parts from my current car including the aluminum bell crank. Has anyone noticed a diffference in steering/handling with the avid bell crank compared to the associated bell crank? I doubt there would be but I thought I would check.

I "think" someone posted that the AE rack was a little lighter than the avid. But I like the black and silver look of the avid alum, so I run that.

Only use Ae clear silicon lube for the the diff balls & rings ..

Use any grease you like on the thrust bearings...

That is exactly why I want to run it. I also have the black shock stand offs and I'm going to try the avid motor centering set as well as the avid black ball stud washers. Too much blue...

Sorry if this has been covered, but I'm confused. So the Centro conversion is more of a 'tuning option' as opposed to a new platform? After listening to Maifield's interview about it, it seems like it would only be of benefit on super high traction tracks like turf or prepped hard clay.

If you use black grease it will slip. I guy at the track accidentally did this and it won't even go forward it slipped so much.

anybody have a good setup for wcrc? I seem to be lacking rear end traction especially on power. I am using the steve hartsen setup as of now. green front springs, white rear. the car wants to spin out fairly easily on power. seems to not have enough forward bite.

any help would be great
