I know MRT isn't doing themselves any favors by not advertising this update more.
My new ones are working fine on both RC3 and RC4 systems

If I offered you a clone of the 94357 at half the cost would you buy it from me or stick with the real thing?

My StormerHobbies MRT came in the mail today, just in time for Wed night racing and it worked flawlessly at our local tracks RC4 system.

I happen to have a couple older MRT's that I'd like to upgrade but I'm a little confused with the OP.

Can I simply trade both of them in straight up, or must I double up my count?

Do I need to pay £49 to upgrade both of my old MRT's or does that £49 get me 4 in exchange for my 2, or do I need to pay £98 to get 4 back... so confusing

You pay £49 to trade one in and get two back, or £98 to trade two in and get 4 back.

I e-mailed MRT regarding the trade-in deal but I received no response. How do we go abouts setting up the trade-in deal?

I sent an email to "[email protected]" yesterday, they just replied back to me this morning with a "Reference Number" to place on the order form. I plan to ship out my PTX's next week.

In my case, I will send them 2 old PTX's + $64(x2) + $15 S/H for a total of $143 and will get 4 PTX's back.

Once they receive my old PTX's, they will email me instructions for making a PayPal payment.

which email did you send it to?

I sent an email last week to "[email protected]", to which I got a confirmation as well, but still no reply back yet. I'm thinking they put a priority on the sales account over the info account.

Here is the order form:
http://www.team-mrt.com/ptx_form.pdf

Perhaps you can try sending it in without a reference number and they'll contact you when it arrives to secure PayPal payment then?

Yeah, having all five of my transponders reading the same number was worth the money. Total turnaround was about 3 weeks. Once I got my reference number I sent in the form with the Paypal payment box checked. They emailed me once when the old transponders arrived and again with the total price when order was complete. I paid a little bit more for "custom" just to get green LEDs. I had trying to ask a separate question before I ordered to confirm if i was getting 3 or 4 at the price but that email never got answered.

I have yet to get a response from them. this is getting frustrating.
