Anybody know why the rpm/speed telemetry might not work on a 8t 2 rtr dx3s? The rx volt and the heat telemetry show up and work fine, but for some reason the speed/rpm doesnt move at all... everything is plugged in properly etc but it has never worked since new.

Its most likely something very simple I am overlooking so any tips would be appreciated.

Yes the tlr 2.0 is a very good truggy for racing.

now on that note how are you guys keeping the cv joint lubed. Mine start squeaking about 3 to 4 minutes in on the first run. I clean my truck after every day l use it. I tried dry wax lube but that didnt help much. I drive on very dusty tracks

which CV's you talking about ? wheel CV's are not possible, but center's can be "booted" and sealed with Silicone or Shoegoo

Wheel. I sealed and lubed the center already. The wheel cvs are squeaking bad.

Just a thought, but I wonder if a high tack chain lube would work? Maybe something for a dirt or street bike. It will attract a ton of dust and dirt, but it should stay on and not fly off.

I've never used a dry wax lube, so I'm not sure how tacky it is. Maybe grab a can of tacky chain lube and try it, or borrow a couple squirts from someone that has a street or dirt bike.

Keep us posted on how it works out for you. I'm curious to hear if it does help or fixes your problem. If it works, I may end up picking up a small can myself! LOL!!!

At which end of the CV are you getting the squeak? The wheel end, or at the outdrive cup on the diff?

The optical trigger on the flywheel probably has fallen of so the pick up has nothing to read. Very common. It won't las on the flywheel for long. It's just a reflective sticker.

Unfortunately it is what it is, and if you run in Dusty dry condition's your going to have to service your shafts more often if you want to keep them squeaky clean.

Maybe if they weren't so squeaky clean they would not be so squeaky!
