i had a few pms about how the new bulldog and the finnisher compare, i wont be able to run them back to back till wednesday tho... so i took some pics with my phone to show how they are different....

I believe your dif might be slipping rather than your slipper. The 1st page in this thread has a link to racer53's article about how to build a dif. He also did a video of the common sounds from a transmission. Look up racer53 on YouTube & watch that video. It should help diagnose the difference between a slipping dif & a slipping slipper.

P.s. if you find it is the dif slipping & you have the stock balls, you probably need to rebuild your dif with new balls & flipped rings. For the new balls, we have had lengthy discussions about the differences between ceramic & carbide. I, & others, like ceramic, still others like carbide. I would recommend buying one type now & the other type next time & decide for yourself.

I have rebuilt all my diffs with the MIP rebuild kit and everything works longer and better. The MIP topshaft is great too.

the killshot goes to like 80* timing on the bell right? A buddy ran it in 17.5, said he loves it for blinky.

The trinity motors have "true zero" in the motor itself. That's why it goes up so high.

Novak and a lot of other motors have 30* of timing inside the motor already.

JConcepts 4.2 & 44.2 cab forward design = FUGLY IMPO.

I find Proline's design to be far better looking, though I much prefer the traditional look better. Cab forwards simply look almost alien like.

I like the old style buggy bodies better than whats out today

I want to order that MIP topshaft when my current gears wear out but that might be awhile

From a driving perspective I found Finnisher body to be much smoother in high speed than the old Bulldog. Lets hope the improved V2 Bulldog drives better than the old dog

im kinda done building the buggy.
but i have a problem that only one of the 4 shock bushings is in the correct size. so i have only one shock mounted...

i have a finnisher before big bores.... from the bulldog v1 to v2, it gained alot of high speed stability, and the wing was a big improvement over anything else they had....

i have been running the v2 bulldog for over a month, and like it, just want to try the finnisher again with big bores.

I'm not good enough to FEEL a difference but I like the way the Finnisher looks on the truck and the buggy over the Proline Bulldog

Just take some 1000 grit sandpaper to the ball on the bushings. Clears the problem right up.

On 8th scale the cab forward dosent bother me as much, but for 1/10 I agee they are funky looking. Maybe it is the proportions, I think my next body will be the Interceptor 2.0 which is +8mm for the B4.1 & 2. That or a Jconcepts Punisher or Illuzion Scoopless, but I am partial to the Interceptor 2.0.

Anyone running the Trakpower ESC or Motor, the new Car Action has a first look, but there isnt much info on them.
