Do you think Tekno is going to release a body with this kit? I hope they make their own.

I'm 99.9 percent sure they will make there own body for the newly released ET48, NT48, and the NB48 vehicles.

Add 0.1%. We will be supplying a custom body for the truggies and the nitro buggy. We didn't do an SC body because there are so many bodies that already fit (kind of like 1/10 touring car).

Sounds good.

I am waiting for my pre-order button.

Tekno, are you going with steel for turnbuckles in this one?

Default Electronics

What is an ideal electronics setup for this truck (batteries, motor, servo) I will be running the RX8. I only have 1/10 scale electronics so I will need everything. I would like to be able to buy everything before it comes out so I will be ready.

thanks in advance for your help

Yes, steel turnbuckles like our other kits. The only difference being that they won't step down to 3.5mm in the middle like the others, they'll be 4.5mm.

a tekin t8 1350kv in 6s and 7955tg would be a very good choice

Your motor will depend on what battery you're running. For 4 cell (5000 mah minimum with a high C rating), go with something in the 1900-2300kv range. If you're planning on running it with mechanical brakes a buggy size motor will be fine, especially for racing. If not, a truggy length might be better as it will have an easier time with the brakes and run cooler. However, Danny is testing a buggy size motor with motor brakes and it's working fine, so it is possible. For servo(s), go with the most torque you can get. I run a Hitec 7955, I think Danny is using a ProTek 150T. If you run mechanical brakes, go with high speed unit speed that has at least 140 oz of torque. A good cheaper option is the Hitec 965 or the ProTek 100ss. I think Danny is running the 130s or 130ss in his nitros.

+1 if your track allows 6s. The truggy 1350 or the buggy 1400 work great. 6s 3300 mah.

Do you have the lenghts for those that want to install Titanium options?

Made a mistake earlier, they'll be 4.5mm in the middle and the others are 3.5mm.
As for the lengths, the front camber link is 5mm thread and 102mm long. The rear is 5mm thread and 108mm long. The steering link is 4mm thread and 108mm long.
All those lengths are subject to change as we are still testing, so don't go buy anything just yet.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that's what she said about the turnbuckles.

It's not the length of the turnbuckle that counts it's how strong and stout it is (or at least that's what I tell myself)
