Rw modding and engine rebuilding
#258
I finally got some tesing in with the Alturn/ Trackstar engine today. This one is modded the same as the Race prepped version I sell. My son Kendall running it using a 0801 pipe and around 250 deg. I did a runtime test and it was 12 minutes, not race condiditons but driving pretty much as hard as in the Video. I was very impressed, it could be run in a truggy it had so much power. The back double is 40 ft and he had to let off to try and downside it.

I am looking in to a Rw mods nitro engine app. I am friends with Tony who developed the Rc setups, it would be similar to his app. It would have engine setups, needles, temp, humidity etc. for all different engines.
What do you think? would you buy it?

For example we would have all different brand engines. You can go to your engine, say Orion Abi 3 port. We would try and have a couple pros needle settings, head shims, pipe, glowplug restrictor etc. also temp and altitude. We would try and have a few different peoples settings at different places so someone could find a good baseline for that engine.

I had a chance to start my break in on the lutz . I had this lapped from you I did not have one lock up at all or stuck at top dead center so thank and good job. I say get the engine lapped is a big plus now and I recommend it to everyone worth the every penny. So thanks again I only made it to the 4th tank but I cant wait to get it all done.

A little video of me breaking in my RW-Mods Alpha F850. I love that crackle of 2 stroke at idle.

I have sent Rex 2 motors. 1 ninja to be modded and a alpha red head that needed a pinch and new bearings. I will post on how they perform in a couple weeks when I get them back and have time to test them before a big state series I'm going to.
