Honestly Les, if it would be possible to increase the size of the indoor track to accommodate electric 1/8th scale, I think that would be way better than an outdoor 1/10th scale track. I'm pretty happy running 1/10th scale indoors. I think that's a good compromise for the guys who want to run more 1/8th scale. It may only be electric but so is 1/10th scale and no one complains about that.

Racers there will not be racing this Friday, May 24th. We are still in the process of changing the track layout. It will be ready for racing next Friday May 31st.

+1

I for one like the 8th scale thing. The E-buggies are close to the size and power of the 4x4 Shortbus....

What do you all think?
Yes I would definitely drive up for 1/10 outside!

That is a possibility in the future. I am currently examining the possibility of expanding the track quite a bit. 30 ft longer and 12 feet deeper. We are talking 130x62 indoor. We are weighing the options.

Les I think your idea of enlarging the indoor track is awesome. An outdoor track would be sweet as long as you can put a roof over it.LOL.As for the E-buggies on the indoor track.Yes as far as weight and size they are close to 4wd Sc but the SC are not run on 4-6 cell lipo's either.I am all for a bigger track. On the fence about e-buggy indoors though.Just my opinion.Boy this weekend is going to suck with no place to race.Damn mother nature.

The longer my eb48 sits here the more and more I like the idea of just a big indoor track.

There was talk of expanding IRH, so that E-buggies could be run. That said, if this comes to pass, this will be the only indoor track in the Tri-state area to allow E-buggies.

Les,
I think you'll be flooded on Sunday for racing with entries. Looks like rain for every venue this weekend. So indoors it will be.

Im all for larger indoor space.
