I think indoor 1/8th scale would be fine as long as strict safety rules are enforced. Strict safety rules might include battery and motor restrictions that racers may not agree with. If the racers cannot understand that safety is most important, then there shouldn't be 1/8th scale racing indoors.

Dave, we are trying hard to race Sunday, but we are unsure as of right now. we will have something posted later tonight about the status of tomorrow. As far as the exit it is 25, . once getting off go to 4 way intersection, take left onto bridge, and then go straight up past ninos and Chevy dealer for about 100 feet and on your right there will be a plaza and a sign saying Wolcott Hobby, just drive around back and the shop address is 130 Scott road. hope this helps.

tyler when you get off exit you just go straight until u get to the dealer ship then take a right and there is a trantolo and trantolo office on your right about a block up take a left there and go all the way around the back..
as for 8th scale maybe you should talk to tod up at rce i think they pulled the plug on 8th scale due to insurance reasons. i would hate to see someone get hurt then sue the shop and have no where to race

Unless the indoor track is the size of a outdoor 1/8 track - such as SJRC - I seriously don't see why you would even want to run an ebuggy on it. It's the equivalent of running 1/10 buggy on a 1/8 outdoor track.

SC trucks have big ole honkin Lexan bodies which give. SC truck bumpers are designed to have a certain amount of give.
1/8 buggies do not. Ask Big Rick about the youngn from PSH last w/end.
Initially, I was upset when I heard Todd was eliminating Ebugs inside...but after lots of thought, I actually do believe he is doing the right thing.
