I must be talking to myself here.

Yes, I realize that. They also just posted this... Hence (again), the reason I'm trying to get clarification.

Thats what I like about the CSI pistons. If you get to a nice pack point, but feel you don't have the shaft speed necessary (shocks aren't returning to the suspension's base ride height fast enough) you simply move to a more progressive piston and and the pack seems to stay about the same.
Just FYI since we race on mostly the same type of outdoor tracks I've been running the same spring combo, blue pistons, 37.5 front, 32.5 rear AE oil, 7K f / 7K c / 2-3K r diffs.

So either they have another issue, have old parts still getting into new kits, or it's not fully fixed.
The mold was fixed a couple months ago, but we don't know exactly what kits or when those parts were put into the packaging. Try doing the sanding mod and you'll know for sure if it is the plastics or something else.

Buggies worked awesome all day and we only had 1 front arm breakage from stuffing it into the face of the landing from a huge 35ft step on/step off feature jump .

Everyone was lovin their EB48's and some of the other drivers that had different manufactures buggies said they were going to switch soon as well ......
Which track is getting that many ebuggies now? I've seen a few around, but not that many? Gonna have to get myself out there.

I assume that means you cant hurt it by going to far and sanding one that doesn't need sanding.

I did it on mine a couple days ago but haven't gotten to drive it since sanding. I had a first run kit and have been slightly annoyed by the non centering all along. I must have missed the first time the fix was discussed.

As long as you don't go WAY overboard you'll be fine in sanding a little more than required. All you're doing is making the part you sand NOT be the limiting contact point, so removing a little more of it is just fine. The point is to allow the interlocking V shapes to always have full contact on both sides and to snap back into position easily if moved.

Does anyone know the holes sizes of the CSI pistions? I realize there are two sizes per pistions. I just want to math out the ratios.

Actually I think if u sand the tips of the saver off just a little to keep it from bottoming out it will help as well. Cause if any dirt gets into saver and settles in the bottom it will not center properly .

Was talking to a couple of guys in our area that just got the Tekno in the last week and told them I was going to email about my drive shaft wobbling out of the box. They both said theirs did as well. Is this common?

i believe the official explanation is that it's normal to have some wobble with no load. once there is load on the system (once it's on the ground), the wobble goes away and/or doesn't effect performance.

Same thing here, it had a small wobble out of the box and I continued to run it and it got progressively worse. I purchased the aluminum shaft and it was perfectly straight and still is after 15+ runs.

RaceEm RC in Rockford IL , kind of a haul from LHR but its a great track with a great bunch of guys running it . Only drawback is their isnt any onsite power so you either have to charge off your car battery or bring a generator .

Here is a pic of the track , nice dirt/clay mix that has good traction especially after they water , which they do when needed .

They are also hosting a midwest electric series race in a week or 2 but I am not sure of the date ....

You can crank the servo saver down to help the problem but that limits the travel of the saver a lot...the serpent spring fixes it completely and the saver will still do its job.
