What's a good inexpensive servo for this buggy? I don't need the short case I'm running rear motor and my packs fit with a standard size servo right now.

Thanks!

Spektrum S6040 is a great servo at a very reasonable price.

Well, just a lil heads up. This is my experience( so I'm speaking for myself)> This is for the (Buggy use low or short ) on the Truck there is More room! I run full size servo( truck) ! But my RX is small. Just to be clear!
What is good about the short or Low servo, is it gives you extra room so you can run the Alu batt. holder/brace and mount it in the 10mm forward position . Still fitting your RX in the Gap between the servo and Batt!
For me.. it gave me the perfect Batt position (forward) and gave me a little more room to be able to fit a small RX. So, if your a serious racer, its just my little tip or good advice I can pass on.
Unless ur a Basher then it don't really matter....
Just trying to save you money in the Long run....

With no servo saver i avoid the short servos. i beleive there is more meat on the teeth of a full size servo? Either way i run on carpet so its harder on servos in my mind...

I like use:
Savox SC-1258TG Super Speed Titanium Gear Digital Servo
or
Spektrum S6040 Digital Titanium Gear High Speed Surface Servo

The azz on the spek is just a bit longer..

What are the advantages to having the 22 in a mid motor configuration vs a traditional rear motor?

I read in the 22SCT thread that TLR discontinued the alum steering rack slider. Does anyone know why? Or has anyone else heard this? Amain no longer has it listed......

TLR website still has it on their parts list so maybe it's false info?

Not sure... I see a lot of things say discontinued ... lucky for us the guy that makes the Female Slider part also makes the Male.

General Questions for one of the TLR guys, I am about out of 25 weight oil and A-Main does not show it being sold on single bottles is it discontinued or just popular and back ordered? I have been looking for it for the past few weeks.

Before anyone give a smart ass response about where I can find it, I have credit with a-main and want to use it up.
