Default Trinity 13.5 Maxzilla: fdr?

Hi all,
I'm searching for a good starting point fdr and timing for this motor, I run in a small truck and I arrive to 4 fdr with o timing on endbell but the motor has a weak acceleration and it's still cool. I'm running touring blinky.
Any suggestions?
I should go even more down with fdr?
Thank you very much.

How does your speed compare on the straight? What is your current gearing?

The timing should max out somewhere around 24 degs on the endbell, that is where I would run it.
FDR on a small track will be around 4.5 in a tc.
You will want to use a fan on the motor and check the motor temp after a minute or 2.
Turning the timing down will help with temp if its getting hot.

It's hard to say because the straights are very short approx 20-25m however I was a bit faster in the end, just before the brake.
The gearing is 3.97 with 0 timing

Do as Josh suggested. Start around 4.5 FDR and crank up the can timing. It should give you faster acceleration and probably won't lose much top speed.

But my endbell has only 20 deg of max timing. I will try 4.5 fdr but temperature, also with 3.97fdr, don't seem to be a real problem. Maybe because I was setting improperly my motor?
Thanks everyone for help

I have 5 dgrees end bell. Timming with a mod race profile has given me enormous top end and plenty of bottom end..
