Default T Maxx 2.5 problem

hey guys im new to the forum and the nitro hobby. i just recently got a t maxx and took everything apart to clean it and set everything back to defaults. went through some issues and seems that i have gotten everything how it needs to be. tuning im sure is off. that obviously comes with time but i set it to factory setting. starting is my issue. i plug in the wand and it turns over. but it wont start for anything. i have tried all i know to do. any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I would try a new glow plug and a ignitor. The little coil that is a ez start sometimes doesn't work. That was an issue when I had one a few years back. Another thing maybe try to heat the motor up. If it was bought used the previous owner could of let it sit up with old inside. Good luck

factory settings are normally very rich, try a new plug lean out the engine a bit and use a actual glow plug ignitor the ezstart coil sucks as mentioned above.

1/8 - 1/4 turn right should be plenty. Just make sure once it is started that it maintains good smoke. The blue smoke tells you the engine is getting lubrication from the nitro/oil mixture of whatever fuel you are using. If you see no smoke after its warmed up then you know you need to fatten it up (turn the HSN left).

i got a glow plug igniter and charged it and tried to start the truck and nothing changed from before. it still just sat there and kept turning over. im about to take the carb off and try to fix that catch. the blue boot came off the carb and i think dirt got on the slide shaft
