I'm running an LT4 with the 4600kV hobbywing. Not sure if its my batteries or the ESC but not as much punch as I need. Going to try better packs before saying it's the ESC. Will let you know.

I've also noticed the Losi has centre universals the Tekno has centre dogbones, does this create any issues? I know my Hyper 9e with a centre universal is a lot quieter than my son's Hyper 9e which still has the dogbone and it sounds like it's vibrating itself loose everytime we run it!

When using the Fioroni pistons, there are three sizes to choose from. Do I use the 16mm,or the 15mm size?

Give Danny time I'm sure he or another Tekno guy will be able to help you out once they are back on here. They are normally on this thread every day so just let them get some sleep right now lol.

Dogbones are a tad louder than cvds/universals but I honestly don't think they give up much on power delivery. Tekno has been using dogbones for a while now with their chassis kits with great results.

ALso, try emailing the Tekno site directly. I did this past Saturday thinking I would get a response on Monday. Well, about an hour later I got a reply.

Turned out it was a small tolerance issue on the motor mount. What I did was force the motor mount insert in the center diff motor mount a few times. It was best to do this with the center diff motor mount out of the truck.

I was then able to see where the anodizing wore off. This is where the manufacturing defect was. I then took a small file and took off about .1mm of material. I only took off a small amount of material at a time, so its best to file it a little, take a sharpie to blacken where it was filed then test fit it again. If the black mark from the sharpie wore off and was silver again, I filed a little more. Took about 10 minutes to fix it.
Hope this helps.
My motor mount is also very tight, I have to tap on it to adjust the gear mesh. Not really a problem, just takes a little more time to set it.

I don't run a BEC with the RX8 and DS1015 , the 1015 isn't quite as power hungry as some of those mega torque servos ......

Please call the office at (858) 997-0833 and select the option for customer service. They get started at about 10am so calling at around 10:30am will give them some time to settle in.

Try running without the sensor cable. For some reason my lt4 had more power sensorless then sensored.
