Hold it up to the tower and drill the new shock holes in the body mount.

Default 550 can

I have a factory team sc10 with a novak pro sc and the ballistic 550 can 4.5 Is this a good combo or should I go to the 540 can motors. Didn't know if anyone has tried both these setups and could give me some pointers.

No 550 can 4.5 in a 2wd sc somthing like a 8.5 turn 540 can.

550 is meant for 4wd cars, the motor is long and will hang out plus the shaft is 5mm right? just stick with 540 size motors, they are meant for 19th scale

SC10B I drilled the outside holes to mount the post, and dremeled the inside of the post to fit the shocks. I marked the center post hole with a sharpie before drilling it. You will probably need a nut on the center post hole and outboard ones.

Picked up a second SC10 tonight.. Trying to decide whether to have it as a spare/one for the kids (along with the blitz) or turn it into an SC10B.

Couldn't figure out how to PM these, no paperclip to attach. These first two I saved off this thread before I did the swap and can't remember exactly who the two 'owner's of these pics are.

Front/top/rear shots of mine. Just a little dremmel work on the body mount itself and new (had to be taller) body posts-I even lucked into the posts/holes lining back up perfectly

Next post has 3rd pic, would only allow me to post 2.
