What do you all think of this steering horn setup? I got the recommended Ofna aluminum horn from the first page. This was the only way I could make it work (ball joint is on top of the horn, not below like stock horn). The button head screw I put in on the underside of the horn arm, barely clears the servo, but it does. I could not get any of the stock horns to fit my servo either...I would think the horn labeled "F" would fit my AE servo...

Still looks to me like it's angled down towards the bellcrank side. If it is just add a longer screw with a couple washers to the bellcrank end to raise it up level with the servo horn side.

I put my screw in from the top and just thread into the horn. Using blue Loctite I've never had it work loose on the buggy or the truck. I also put 2 washers on the bellcrank to raise up that side of the linkage, not necessary, but I like it to be closer to level.

I see your running the Durango turnbuckles on your steering. Any reason why not on the full truck? I have some here already from my durango stuff and was thinking of putting them on my whole truck if I can match up the correct sizes.

I just blue threadlocker on a flathead screw on the servo horn and put a spacer on the servo saver arm.

Congrats man! On your track I thought the Prolite was the end all be all?

I actually used some of those balls that go into the ball ends. Had one that was about the height and used that as a spacer on the steering bellcrank and it worked great.

Gonna see about putting in the pistons today, however, weather looks bad to run it tomorrow

As a suggestion for Tekno, can you put the conditions the setup was for on the page with the link. That will make it easier to know what the setup was for condition wise without having to open the file.

I raced my local club weekly event Sat. I qualified 4th and after waging a comeback in the main finished 1st. I came back from a 10 second deficit after a spin on the straight. I think I might put the truck on a diet so its not so hard to keep pace with the lighter trucks inside. If the truck is this fast heavy, I would love to see it in trim shape.....

Very good truck
Nimble as a sc10 stable as a scte
Won my first race with it with stock set up
Will change to tricker oils and lay down the shocks but that is it
It is a heavy truck and needs getting used to and monitor temps of the electronics
Tekno made a good design and engineered it well
Only flaw is it had alot of places for dirt to settle in like the sc10

Thanks guys! I'm making some adjustments now to the linkage setup. Almost done, can't wait to get this thing on the track
