Is there anything that needs to be changed from stock? Or is the truck set to go out of the box as far as parts go.
Any mods need to be done?
Anything to look out for?
Build tips?
What motors 4 pole or 550?
Any other info.
Thanks
I have run the "New Tekin Pro series " motors and have made the switch to Reedy 550 4.5 in my 4x4 SCT'S . You can always turn you power limiter down , and when you get to a big track turn it backup . No replacement for displacement . As far as truck upgrades go with the aluminum servo arms and wheel hexes .

I know this has been asked before, but what is the stock shock fluid front and rear equate to in say the losi oil. Trying to get a baseline of what the stock fluids are. Thanks.

Don't think you understood my question. The kit comes with 3 servo horns marked F H and JKS but no where does it tell you the spline count for any of them. Does anyone know which horn is which?

Hitec has 24 splines. The one marked H should be for hitec.

I had one person tell me the 4pole was more power full than the 550 motor and two people say the 550 is more motor is the 550 motor smoother? I was told that last night at the track. I have a ride with Speed Passion so it will be something they sell.

The advantage of the 4 pole 540's is that they make comparable power to a 550 but in a smaller package - so the motivating factor is 1/3 less weight. Each type has a different power band. Both will hustle these 4x4's around the track.

7 year old Malin attended round #4 of the 2012/2013 JConcepts Challenge @ Mustit Raceway last weekend.

She ended up winning all her qualifiers, setting the fastest lap of the day, missing TQ by just over a second and qualified 2nd for the finals

She got a 3rd place finish in round #3 a couple of weeks ago and came prepared for round #4

She started running R/C cars in November 2012.

She also races 4WD mod buggy with her XB4.

Here's video from qualifying #1 where she set the fastest time for round 1 of the qualifiers (she was in heat 3 out of 4 total):

Here's qualifying #2 where she went another 5 seconds quicker:

Here's a pic of her setup:
