The gear also looks to be warped. Any info or tips would be much appreciated.
My center diff plastic cover had a bit of flashing on the inside, from the injection molding process, that was sticking out just far enough for the gear to rub. There is very little (but still enough) clearance between the cover and the gear teeth.

That's what I was thinking when I was building mine.

Just go mine today and after owning and building the Eb48 I have to admit dissapointment in the plastic hinge pin holders. Is the ackerman plastic also? What else needs to be replaced? Any help would be appreciated!

Uhg really don't want to tear it down again that will make 3 times. I'm also a little worried that if I take the gear off the gasket will need to be replaced does anyone know if the gasket will still seal if I remove it? Btw thank you everyone for the tips hopefully I can get it sorted out.

You will have to do something pretty bad to break them.

Tekno plastics are rock solid. No need to replace any of it, save for MAYBE the wheel hex. I've beat the poopy outta mine for at least 6 weeks now and have not broken anything plastic. One issue I did have was an outer rear hinge pin snapped, which I think may have actually been my fault.

On another note...

Havn't touched my 410 shocks since original build. I just now uncapped the front, will do the R in a bit. But I hadda stop for a minute.
1) I was able to uncap em and the bladder stayed sealed tight to the body.
2) Oil is crystal clear, like it was just out of the bottle.
3) Now, I do give much kudos to GMK's Gary Kosits Shock Snot for this.

That said, after I am guessing at least 6 weeks worth of running it, this is highly impressive to me! Kudos also to Tekno RC on a fantastic design with their shocks.

I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my SCT410. I've read a lot in the last ~50 pages of people breaking rear axles. Are the majority of these breakages happening on trucks with +3mm wheels?

I will say also I have now a few practice days on mine and two complete races. Figured I would pull the diffs apart to get the intinal wear out of them. The oil was clear as new, and no leaks.

I found the same with the shocks, and reused the bladders.

This kinda stuff is unheard to me. What a great truck!

How bad is it rubbing? If your look and the side of the gear and spin it does it wobble.
Mine rubbed a little I just ran it and all in fine. The diff gasket pretty good I swapped diff fluid twice in the rear diff and once in the center and reused the gasket and I have no leaks I just cleaned the gasket with some rubbing alcohol.

All I can say is I tighten the heck out of them. With std offset. Crashed bad, etc. No issues.

I'm not too worried about the plastic suspension braces, Danny from Tekno said they tried their hardest to break them and they came through with flying colors...plus they are very stought. Yes the akerman plate is plastic to but again I don't see any issues with it just because it's plastic. The only thing I didn't care for are the shock spring adjusters...I wish they were aluminum with the o-rings so they will stay when you adjust them. I'd say that's a must up-grade right off the bat.

I will upgrade to aluminum shock collars for the bling and piece of mind, but the plastic ones have never moved.

I broke inner rear hinge pin holder in 1st day after 3 packs... and it was indoor small track... so dunno about how hard they tested them but I would say get spare ones and don't be like me... own it for 3weeks, use it once... 2 weeks waiting for shipment to my LHS...
