I notice quite a few people are removing the rear and center braces. How exactly does this affect handling?

+1. On the Losi with a Tenshock 5200 I ran a 12t pinion. On the Tekno with the HW 4700 I have been running a 15t pinion. I run on a big 1/8th scale size track. Thinking about bumping up to a 16t. With the 15t I seem to top out a bit to soon on the straight.

I have a problem when I bolted the front bumper to the chassis the lip on the bottom of the bumper doesn't fit in front of the chassis so it's bending the bumper pretty good between the screws and where the bottom of bumper is notched. Anyone have any ideas?

Just back off the screws that hold the bulkhead to the chassis so it fits. Then tighten it all back down.

Gives you more rear grip. I've been playing around with setup and was pushing at another track yesterday so I found myself putting the braces back on to stiffen my rear a bit.

I took 1st place with the changes, I still love this truck.

I actually did the bottom first it looks like the chassis is longer than that space on bumper is where it should fit.

It is a very snug fit, just keep trying and you will get it to go together

I took just that front bumper piece and I just can't see how it fits no one else had an issue here?

Never mind figured it out you have to have the chassis loose from the front end for the chassis to fit in the notch in the bumper

hey guys, am I correct in my assumption here as far as what tekno brand pistons will offer least pack to most:

- 1.3mm x 10 hole
- 1.2mm x 10 hole
- 1.4mm x 8 hole
- 1.1mm x 10 hole
- 1.3mm x 8 hole

Anyone know the thickness of the pistons off hand?
