Gaano ba kalaki tires mo bro? I use rc4wd tomahawks on my cc-01 it's around 3.9"-4" in diameter. Also using stock shocks, barely sumasayad naman sakin.

On a stock setup, you're a bit limited only to your stock shocks. If you do the front suspension lift mod, you can probably fit around 80mm shocks without having to drill out holes in the fender wells. The rear can take around the same size of shocks without doing any mods. What tires are you using now? Yung body ba is still the FJ40?

Look for CebuRC's posts on the buy/sell thread, he sells corrosionx.

Also would like to ask what setup do you guys run on your wraith? Just finished building mine. Placed a brushless motor on it. with the stock axial rx and tx and stock gearing. Hirap macontrol ang crawl niya. Also using a HW 60a Esc with drag brake. Parang pag mabagal nanginginig yung takbo niya. Di siya smooth?
Is your brushless system sensored? If not, that's the reason why your rig is "cogging". Sensorless motors aren't smooth on low speeds.

BY THE WAY....ANY OF YOU GUYS HAVE A SPARE Y LINK? KAHIT USED?

Leonv,

Yup. Guess the thread is getting lively every day. I hoe parts and accessories will follow.

Mix237,

Yes sir its sensorless. Ive thought about it too.... I really need some help on setting this rigs. I dont want to buy any unnecessary parts anymore. Need help on setting the proper gearing, motor and esc combo (brushed or brushless) want to do water crossings and the like if possible.

Heres whats with my scx10

-Axial Stock 27t brushed motor and esc.
-pinion 15T, spur 87t 48 pitch (just recently replaced the stock pinion)
*should i change to a 32pitch gear or should i just wait for gears to break down before replacing them?
-cvd shaft up front (still having some jerking at full turn.)
-placed 70grams of wheel weights on both tires
-changed the servo to tower pro high torque.
-aluminum upper, lower and steering links
-aluminum steering hub

Actually im abit ok with the scx10. Just need to sort out whats with the jumping axle at full turn. Had water proofed the esc too and all the electronic. Needs some trail time to further test the rig.

Wraith (kit)
- hobbywing 60a esc with drag brake for brushless motor
-novatech 3500kv brushless motor
-towerpro hitorque servo
-stock gearing

I wanted to tame the motor abit. But likewise since its a sensorless motor it cogs at low speed. Thinking of replacing the whole esc motor combo. Any suggestion? Brushed or brushless? Im on a limited budget. I guess it would be much better if i go brushed so that i can have low speed control and good for water crossing? Whats a good combo? Kung brushless naman po mostlikely sensored. Medyo expensive na sila pero would appreciate your inputs.

Should i put weights on the front wheel too? Ive cut the foam inserts into star already...

Sorry for such a long read.... I got to excited lately and purchased this and that.thinking the build would be a breeze... Im damn wrong. Took me two straight days to assy the wraith... Just manage to finish the rolling chasis and installed the electoronics. Im still not done with the lexan body.... Do i really need to buy alexan scisors?

Waaaa... Im overloaded..... Im doing three rigs all at the same time.....waaaaaaa need to calm my self....

Default May masama akong binabalak.

Dahil wala na si Da Hulk...

Introducing DOKTOR OKTOPUS!!!!!!

This kit is a mixture of RC4WD, Axial, 3Racing, and other parts. Yung mga tira tira ko lang. Wala na kasi akong kit so hinalughog ko yung mga stocks ko and old parts box. Siguro naman with that axle hindi na ako sasabit sa mga bato. bwahahaha!

By the way, meron siyang dig and 4 wheel steering pero inactive. Masyado nang madaya. hehehe.

Still trying to figure out what to use for a ladder frame, shocks, and body mounts.

Oh by the way ive read some where when using a high torque servo your rig needs to have a bec? Also whats the advantage of running a 3s lipo? Dipo ba mas bibilis siya?

F48,

Nice axles.... Will wait for your upcoming build.... Had placed the cvd already! Na lessen na yung jumping but its still there....
