Hopefully I can shim if it is not all ready externally adjustable.
Anyone have experience with using them externally?

Thank you!

To tell you the truth, I'm still getting used to my vcs in the 44.2 with somewhat tighter diff settings. Not ideal, but I am just trying to keep from blowing out my front bevel gears but still throw down power.

I may be doing it all wrong, but I still want externally adjustable diffs.

the kits comes with an allen wrench that should allow you to adjust externally.

You need to try my setup 100% as specified below:

front:
1.6 pistons
30 ae oil
black springs
3 limiters
inside tower
outside arm
24mm ride height
1 balls stud washer

rear:
1.6 pistons
27.5 ae oil
green springs
2 limiters
inside tower
inside arm
shaved brace
2 washers
A hubs
24mm ride height

Ballast weight, battery 75% forward (1 pad rear, smaller front).
7g in rear triangles.
Diff std to tight.

After that, play with rear roll center going up in rear washers for more corner exit stability and down in washers for more infield traction.

I have a list of things to try if my car ever gets not awesome, but so far, ain't change'n anything

Ya i watched the video where he talked about his car. It says he raised his spindles 1mm, i think that means he dremeled the top of the spindle and added a 1mm shim under the spindle. I believe that gave him more steering entering the corner.
curious about the 1mm limiters as well, i guess that set-up could be very track specific and when running green tires indoors you can have insane grip. Maybe i will have to experiment with a few of those things he was running.

Anyone got a setup using big bores on carpet, standard or shorty packs?

Trying to decide if I will order more shorties or just go with my standard packs.

you can always add weight with a shorty. And I would think a lighter more nimble car would be better on carpet.
