Cheers.
Here you go. You could also use the springs from old ball point pens. Just cut it down to size. Works the same.

yes. only these things u needs...

E2201 DIFF CASE 3 pcs front rear center
E2202 CONICAL GEAR 2 pcs front rear
E2204 BEVEL GEAR 2 pcs front rear
E2206 GEAR SPURS 1 pcs

replace E2204, E2202 (44T/13T stock gearing) with E2203, E2205 (42T,12T optional gearing) OD UD...........

i am also budget racer. but worth it at least for me to keep and invest on x7 drive train as spare parts or gearing optional when owned 7... overdrive underdrive

will share you some when completed and tested the upgrades.....

i was thinking the same.. straight cut gear should makes the car feeling like 'willing to go'
will scale it when receive the front rear drive train

If anyone is looking for a good deal on an mbx6 let me know.

I have a nitro one and an E buggy. Both with parts and the E buggy has a brand new chassis to go with it.

So has anyone completed a full MBX6 to MBX7 conversion?

I am happy with the handling of the MBX6r, so I don't know if it is worth moving to a MBX7

We have both. My son is the pilot and he uses both of them depending on how he feels that day. But you can't swap them out that eay. Especially with the chassis and all the new front end parts

Thanks, I guess there is an extensive parts list I will need to buy.

Does your son turn faster laps with the 6 or 7?

It just seem like the current 7 is lacking in the high end components like the 6r has. I wonder how soon Mugen will release a 7r

If history repeats itself it will be 3 years before an R version is released. Chances are an M Spec will be released within the next year or so with corrected updates.

Default Couple questions about best shock setup bladders, pistons, etc

Hi I have recently switched from Losi to Mugen and I got a awesome MBX6R from a friend who got a MBX7 it has a ton of upgrades and extras. It has the web/honeycomb bladders Serpent I think they seem to be decent on the track but I have a hard time getting the rebound to bleed down to less than 3/4. Anybody running these or have ran them with any advice on getting the right setup with them? Also which pistons are most of you running on outdoor hardpack clay? I have the white ones which I believe are stock but I ran CSI v2 blue before in my Losi and I am looking at the tapered hole ones from Mugen how well do the work or should just stick with CSI or is there another brand? One last question what rebound does the Mugen like with which springs? I am using 8.25 fr/8.50 rear with 32.5wt rear/ 37.5wt front any suggestions? I am already a little quicker with the Mugen compared to my Losi and much more stable! Quality of the metals and shocks/diffs don't leak so that's a plus also. Thanks for any info/advice!

He hasn't had as much time with he 7 obviously but that buggy really is fast. His 6r really rotates great. We are still dialing in the 7 but I see it being faster real soon with some more time. The weather hasn't helped yet when we have had a chance. He won't sell his 6r for sure. There is nothing wrong with it. Some people won't be able to tell a difference.

The new taper 5 hole pistons work very well when installed with the taper up (mugen's perform better with a reduced rebound setting). If you go with the CSI blue pistons with a 50 wt front, 45 wt rear oil setup will work just great. The Serpent webbed bladders have a break in period before the rebound will become consistent and easier to set, I personally prefer the Kyosho black shock bladders http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ck-Diaphragm-4
They are durable and last a long time. What i've found is the kit 8.25 springs front and rear work pretty much anywhere, i've tried different front and rear springs and always go back to the 8.25's. You will find that the 6R likes a 25-27mm front ride height and a 26-28mm rear ride height, from there just play with the caster and roll centers to get the feel you want and have fun.
