Thanks!
OMG fighting the impatience of just wanting it done, cursing the diff balls that fell into the carpet, and I didn't even include the 100's of retake photos, but it was definitely worth it. It took 3 days. If you look closely you can see the sunlight move across my table a few times. ;-)

I will likely do his with my short course kit when I get it.

ok, so I just reviewed the entire B4.2 manual and read all of the thread on it. My brand new B4.1 WC has all the upgrades on it. Big bores, avid rack, VTS, hex conversion so all I can see thats not on mine is the towers, and all that I see different on them is the groove on the top.

Who exactly is this "new" car for, those of us with worn out B4.1 cars??

Well, I just got my 4.1 WC done, or can I call it a B4.2 now?

I think the upgrades are there to help pull Losi/durango/New Car Owners. Also, those of us just wanting a fresh car. I have heard many people say "AE does not have BB shocks, hexes or a good slipper on the b4, why would I want old tech". So AE added all of the new tech to draw in more B4 owners.

Default Upgrades for b4.1 RTR

Hi guy

I have installed a Savox servo in my b4.1 RTR and see a great improvement in steering, also using futaba 4pl transmiter. But in order to compete the motor and esc are still weak, can't over the doubles on the track...

Any recommendation for good motor (7.5) and esc for this car? (not too expansive)

Thanks
Eran

Good variety out there right now.

Me personally I have been enjoying my speed passion GT2.0 Pro ESCs. for the money, offer lot of bang for the buck and are durable enough for even 1/10 4x4 SCT usage. The new Reventon Pro comes with a nice hand held programmer and the option to wirelessly program the ESC.

I also run Speed Passion motors, the 8.5 V3.0 I have been using has lots of pop to it but is still pretty smooth on the bottom end. Prices on the motors are pretty cheap to direct from speed passion.

I also used novak gear in the past and didn't have an issue with the power they made in mod. Heck, if I did, just used a different hotter stator or motor lol.

The viper stuff is good if you have $200 in your budget. The SP/HW stuff is ok if you have a $100 budget
