I also started around that time. I started with the grasshopper and the hornet and they all were with stick remotes. I found the transition to be hard at first but the whole key is to find what works best for you. That stick radio is definetly not letting you down.

Yeah, we may have to kick Ed Sahm & that Blake kid outa 17.5 buggy real soon! LOL
It really has turned out to be a fun & competitive class. It seems to have sparked an interest in 17.5 Stadium Truck as well which is a positive development too for the track!
