I also started around that time. I started with the grasshopper and the hornet and they all were with stick remotes. I found the transition to be hard at first but the whole key is to find what works best for you. That stick radio is definetly not letting you down.

It really has turned out to be a fun & competitive class. It seems to have sparked an interest in 17.5 Stadium Truck as well which is a positive development too for the track!

I'm thinking of switching to mod sooner or later. For the Summer Reinaldo and I only race Mod, Because of the Gallimods Season.

I know the last time I was there the tire for choice was a bar type tire. just making sure its not a slick like IR lol. I will be there on sat for your Feb freeze race.
