Default Intech BR 6 shocks

I tried Mugens shock shafts on my Intech BR6.They are longer and i could move The shocks to the lowest hole in the tower and still drive with full droop.I made up a second per lap.I also made the car longer and got more grip.To get more steering i put 0 insert in the toe in block in the rear.Sorry for my english but i think everybody understand.diffoils that work for me 5/5/3.

English is fine Swede. Did you have to place limiters in the shock so piston would not hit the bladder?

No problem with that plenty of room. Our team manager will send a request to the factory for 5 mm longer shafts.

Front or rear shocks or both?

I have asked for longer shock shafts also. Right now I am just unscrewing the shock ends 2-3 turns. But that is not safe.

Both.Front and rear.I am a former Mugen driver and wanted to try out the same schock positions as i had on my Mugen. The car got much calmer and got much moore corner speed.Nice to find this thread. It helps alot to talk with other drivers.I practise at a indoor track here in Sweden. Its a clay track and we converted our BR 6 When the first nitro car arrived i Sweden. We use the Xray 808 convesion kit.Its a perfect way to get prepeard for outdoor season.

What are the lengths of the Mugen shafts?

And do the Mugen pistons fits the Intech shocks?

I have wanted to test Mugen and Xray shafts but I don't have any to measure.

I prefer maximum up travel and as well as a good amount of down travel. So these tests will help Intech make improvements to the BR-6.

Did you drive the BR-5 or is the BR-6 your first Intech?
I am using the Br-5 shock bladders and I like them better because you do not have to use foam behind them or drill a vent hole in the caps.

I'm glad the body comes pre-cut! Mine will be headed off to Larry G for some paint as soon as my kits get here, can't wait to start building! Thats good to know about the Mugen shock shafts, thanks!

I'm guessing they may be discontinued soon as they marked the price down to 15.99 now. Not sure though.
Here is a pic of mine with the hole for the HS needle. I made it a little too big though.

and here it is side view

I'll take more pics later with close up shots but I had these in the computer already.
I just mounted a FTW 808 body but it is too wide. Is the Bitty 808 body too wide also? What I mean is there is a 3/8th gap between the chassis gaurds and the body.
