Yes read the Manual

Works-Default-Settings: All LRP speed-controls come factory-adjusted (defaults are grey-shaded). If you
loose track of the modes, you can restore the works default settings easily. With your radio switched on, hold the
SET button pressed while you switch on the speed-control. This returns the unit to our works default settings.

Default ver 5

in the Uk all team drivers are using version 5 in boosted or mod .In blinky it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Esc can come with ver 5 preloaded

Glad I bought a second one! These things are very noticeably faster than the RS, and definitely worth the money! I may even buy a 3rd one just to have as a spare!

Just out of curiosity, does the competition version have a port on the ESC to connect a fan?

For those interested,

My settings till now for a flow with lrp x12 13.5 on 1s in 1:12th

0,3,4,6,10,0,0 with the 00 insert and 55mm/rev.

I believe that with the relatively high start rpm of 5100, you need a bit more static timing and therefore less dynamic esc timing.

Need to test a bit with turbo timing, but our track does not have long straights so I'm not sure it would be of use.

What are some of the upgrade reasons from an SXX V2 to a Flow?

Better case. Better solder tabs. Reliable BEC. Faster processor which supposedly makes it smoother. It's been a very solid ESC, I have no complaints. Perhaps it's overkill for blinky 17.5/13.5, but it just does its thing and stays out of your way. That's all I want out of an ESC these days.

1. Smoother Throttle profiles, can adjust throttle profile while in blinky
2. More boost adjustability, mod & stock boost profiles on one ESC
3. Aluminum case
4. "U" solder tabs
5. Improved BEC reliability

I also saw a small drop in motor temps in 17.5 blinky TC, 5-10*F.

LRP have also released new firmware that more specializes the profiles, 1 for offroad (mod), 1 for onroad(mod), and one for stock racing.

This speedo being Hammy approved is better than Roar approval. And once Hammy makes a decision you can write it in stone it wont be reversed.
