got nitro.. your forgetting tires rims.. and about 4 more $100 servo for ur truggy ..U math is like a kindergartners math BAD and wrong.. try about $1400 in a truggy and $790 for a RTR e ervo brushless.. worked for a hobby shop up until the New year .. sold many Losi 8 parts and very few Revo parts due to a losi 8 breaks..Gotta love The Erevo no matter how many hatters there are ..
Here, I got one better for ya..
Losi-8 RTR Truggy, WAY more durable then a erevo.... Electric conversion kit, motor and ESC and your under $1000...

A Jrx-t... sure at the time losi called it a "monster truck". It was far from being a monster truck considering what monster trucks were out at that time like the clod buster. It was basically the jrx-2 buggy with truck wheels and body. Which is pretty much all a truggy is. It didn't compete with monster trucks or in the buggy class. And before the Jrx-t and rc10t people were taking buggies and putting truck bodies and wheels on their buggies. I still got my rc10 that I converted to a truck back in the 80's. People been converting buggies into trucks for decades and racing them. It pretty much pioneered what a truggy is today.

You didn't know got_nitro was a troll? LOL. He's been on my ignore list for like 4 years.
OH and slightly a hypocrite as well comparing his little bathtub racer to a 10th scale one which we all know is a bit of a different beast.

It's great to know you looked at my sales history, thanks for the satisfaction!

Truggys have there place and so do E-Revos. I still really like both. Why cant we all JUST GET ALONG?? I have been a dedicated racer and my son beat the crap out of a Slash and loved it. You can put a 8ight or a revo together for less than 1000.00 if you look around and are patient. I know because I have done it twice! Reguardless I Still Love My 2 E-REVOs!

Oh and speaking of a Center Diff in a Revo has anybody ever had one? I just took one out of mine. I hated it because even with extremely thick fluid it slipped way too much! Mostly was a front wheel drive with occational 4wd. Maybe with concrete in it, it would work better! Never had it on a race track to see how it would work. Just my $.02 but I dont like them...

I personally would take a revo over a truggy anyway. The lhs biggest seller is the revo. People bash Traxxas because its associated with.being marketed towards the younger crowd as an entry level rtr rc. I have one of the first if not the first Traxxas monster trucks and back then it was marketed as a rtr basher for people new to rc.
The revo is more versital than a truggy. You can bash it, race it, mod it, bash it some more. My next project is an e revo. A truggy... well it was built for racing...

Here's my D8t truggy using a Vorza chassis, Emaxx bug body, and MT4-g3 tires. If you saw this thing run side by side with the e-revo you'd experience the revo looking like a Toys r Us toy.....durability, performance, handling.....no comparison.

And check out my build thread if you don't think a truggy/buggy can be versatile/customizable

I don't think the Revo is more versatile than a truggy...and I know for sure that truggies can outbash revos by a looooooongshot!!! You cannot compare durability between the two. And There is tons of room for customization of truggies!!

You call the Revo a toy when you post a picture of that hideous thing? I'll take my chances with a Revo.. I have videos showing the air I had with no issues, so I'll keep my taller ride height and accessibility to much more aftermarket fun over a Truggy any day.

I had a brushless revo for several years....and I've had a Summit since they were first released......I know the platform well....I know what they can do and I know their limitations. Check out some of my videos on this thread.

A revo CANNOT stand up to a truggy for bashing. I thought like you too when I only owned traxxas stuff.. The main thing I didn't like about the revo was 1/1o scale diffs in a 1/8 scale truck. Weak, weak. Weak....especially for almost $800!!!!jeesh. Holy overpricification Batman
E-revo is kinda fun, but definitely toyish compared to a good truggy.
