Angry issue with b44.2 with mamba max pro

i recently bought a b44.2 kit and i put it all together.
have a 5700kv mamba max pro and esc ( i think thats the right kv idk )
have a savox servo with a dx3c reciever
running a 19tooth pinion

issue i have is my reverse and foward are backwards
ive tried reversing throttle and when i do that foward wont work but reverse will, ive tried everything on the controller also tried swapping around wires from esc to motor and sinking esc to controller which idk if im doing it right

the esc is sensored but motor is not, also am running a glitch buster (have to have one with every savox servo and a spectrum reciever it seems like.

need help plz!!!

You need to set your MMP to "forward/brake with reverse" This will allow you to have normal forward and a full brake, but if you tap the brake again you'll get reverse.

Has anyone ever ordered stainless steel screws from McMaster's? If so what grade do you order?

I wouldn't use stainless screws unless you're putting them in non load bearing places. They tend to be softer than normal screws. Meaning that they're both weaker and strip out more easily.

Had a similar problem with a kids new car last week. He had the a & c motor leads reversed. Try swapping those, set the throttle to normal on the tx, & do the setup for the ESC again. Solved his problem, maybe it will solve yours also.

UN4RACING, nice glue job on the tires. It rivals mine

You have any issues with running you motor wires between the top deck and the motor like that? I always want to run mine like that but I don't like how they could pinch and maybe chaff on the edge of the deck when the chassis flexes..

That's what I was thinking. It's a 2nd class for me so I didn't want to drop a ton of cash on it.

I built my 44.2 with stainless steel screws in a few places, and have had no issues. I'm using them all over my shock towers, lower shock mounts, wing mounts, hubs, etc. They are not stripping nor bending/breaking.

Plus you can get buttloads of them cheap from fastener businesses.

No a local place AE actually used to get all their screws from. I have plenty if you want to throw me a few bucks for coffee. I will be at WCRC tomorrow afternoon to watch Cav Maifield and all the other pros in the KO mains. And next Friday to race as usual.
