great news with the HD diff cases with integrated inserts!
(Now who's the first person who's gonna B* about something else?)

The big question is.......
Are the inserts plastic and part of the mounding or still metal and fitted/moulded into the case properly at the point of manufacture????

At least: EXCELLENT.
I would say that of course the inserts are made of metal. Plastic would sure not last for many races.
I still wonder about that paper (?) seal: can it really hold every drop from the fluid inside?
I hope we soon could get them...

Finally! When will they be available in shops?
It's all plastic now, so what is the expected usage from one, how often should they be changed?

This is not the announcement i was looking for.
Also - what's going on with the Losi brand in general? Is it being shuttered? Will TLR continue to provide race level vehicles and will Losi go away? Seems like there hasn't been anything from there in a while - and there was never a RTR 22SCT released through Losi like the 22 and 22T

What affects would the TLR flex chassis and braces have over the stock chassis? Assuming that was the only thing that was changed - what would the new handling characteristics be?
Thanks Ryan & Hacker for all you guys do to help this sport.. How Much are those new pretty diff cases ?

I am very interested in the new diff cases ! As I have said many times before this was the one part of the SCTE that needed fixing and now its a reality ! I bet this in concert with the redesigned diff gears will finally make the SCTE diffs bulletproof . Thank you Mr. Dunford !

Thanks for the great news!
So you've got one parent company that owns two of the same brands - I.e. the Losi name. My point is that the "Losi" brand doesn't seem to be doing anything lately and all focus is on TLR. Horizon may choose to shut down Losi and distribute the cheapie stuff under another brand while focusing on the race oriented TLR.
Think about it in terms of this - you've got a successful race truck (SCTE) that is supported by two different brands - Losi and TLR - under one parent company. That's just bad business sense. It adds complexity and reduces efficiency to market.

OK, so let me try to answer all of your questions...
*Yes, the inserts are metal. The are impregnated into the plastic with a channel.
*The tolerances were fixed so the 4 tiny shims are no longer needed.
*The gasket was updated and is a new material and thicker for much better sealing.
*The screw holes for the 4 screws that hold it together are tighter for less stripping.
This is a whole new mold and case. Getting these tolerances right was crucial to the overall handling of the truck. Sorry for the delay, I have been working on these for months now.
I have over 100 runs on the 3 in my truck now and zero leakage. They are butter smooth and have been from day one. I have many others running them with all smiles so far.
They should be through QC in the CA warehouse and be shipping by Tuesday.
