Maybe a pair of those for me would be on the cards
Get some Nascar handling with the older school looks

Bodies with numbers 51, 8, 3 and 34 are too wide at 9" (230mm) and the wheelbase will be too long as these bodies were made to fit - PRO 10 Pan Chassis.

McCallister bodies are STRONG, will last a whole year of VTA bashing (at SMA - Tuesday). Half a year on VTA fundays (at SMA - Sundays - A lot more cars on the track on fundays).

are you coming out on the 16th December for the VTA Funday/Novice/Xmas get together
If we are going to run in a Veladrome say once every month I think we should keep it Nascar .. otherwise its NASTOCKWHATEVER... my 2 cents.. as long as I can have VTA once a week I dont give a rats... The Edam Cheesegrater is ready to Veladrome with a new R8 and 13T donk!

If you are getting some bodies Whacko get me a 23 for a shelf biatch as I have some 230mm chassis and a Chev door number 15

Agree Rubes, i reakon keeping the Tuesday Night VTA pretty close to the "rules book" and having the VTA/Novice Fundays more open is a great idea.

Rubes - is it possible to order a F103? talk to you Tuesday/Sunday about this as want to get one and give it a run

Nascar velodrome with 13t motors sounds great (crashtastic)!

i'd still be keen on the funday - had a completely different fun factor feel..

Thanks minita1 for that! I should have noticed that..
I agree with rubes about the NASCAR for the velodrome it would be nice to get a lot of NASCAR body's going around together.

++ on the nascar bodies...

btw, do you think we should also standardise the motor, Tyres and FDR? more stock car feel?

Just had meeting, sorry boys its a no go
possibility of next year "in winter", cross that bridge when we come to it.

IF we get the chance to do this i reakon
Tyres - same ones we run on in VTA (just to make it harder to drive)
Motor - 13t brushless (same as mini combo)
ESC - lets keep our existing esc's (blinky mode) to save money
Bodies - any Nascar body
just my 2 bobs worth

Bummer on the Veladrome but Agree on the spec...
13T motor easy to get if you dont already own 4 like me and most of the other guys... ESC No Brainer keep the ones you have now just some different gearing obviously, Nascar Body and VTA Tyres again no brainer .. Personally I like the 3 straights one dogleg it keeps you on your toes!!! plus you need it so Steve can catch up And Backdoor can do his job!!!

I may be able to source one local otherwise mate try RC Mushroom... 103 STD F1 Kit should be about 99 bucks the RM might be 180 thereabouts but its a specialised chassis and diff...

Which velodrome did you talk to? If we keep the class as stock as possible without going crazy I think that will be best for the class.

What about a 13.5 turn motor? Not keen on buying a mini motor that I cant use in anything else that I have.

Cheers
Rob.

Matt talked to the people at the Tempe velodrome earlier today, sadly that's a no go.

Where abouts in Bass Hill is the velodrome?

Cheers
