RC10B4.1 FT/WC
Sorry I edited the original post. But here is my battery http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-50c-50...case-2222.html
your battery came with a 4mm to red cheapo connector with and a balance cable. refer to the picture you linked. replace the cheapo red with a deans male. connect the deans to your x4 charger cable insert the 4mm bullets into the battery and the 1mm pin into the little hole and charge.
I'm asking as I just got my Avid A-C hubs. My local track gets rough, but other tracks I run out of town are smoother
Grasschopper-
How long have you been using those batteries? They are super low cost and was wondering their reliability, I'm still a little nervous about cheap batteries but then again you also hear about high quality ones going up in smoke/flames too.

What shock oil do I need not sure if any comes with the kit what would be the best for a medium sized track clay. I'm running the V2 shocks What weight oil front and rear? Also what spring set would y'all recommend I've looked at the Avid spring sets just not sure?
Thanks
Thanks
I have been running the GensAce since march. No issues. They balance and stay balanced. I have run mine in a sc10 4x4, t4, b4 and an sc10. No puffing and they will still hold 5k mah. IR has increased, but that will happen with all packs. They still have a good feel. I would get the 65C packs though. I have been made a believer that higher C is faster and punchier. If your running 7.5 mod, then a lower C will make it smoother. But for stock more C.

They're fine for the money.
How often do you guys replace your packs? I wait until they start to go soft during an 8min run. I always balance, and leave them in storage mode, so I can get about 12-14months weekly racing out of my Promatch shorties. I'm thinking about trying some low C packs to see if it'll take longer to experience the same fade next time.

The pack still "feels" good. And I check IR with my Icharger, and since it does not do it with a good load, I believer the numbers are meaning less. I saw a video of jang doing IR tests and his method looks way more legit than the features of my charger. I still believe, that like in the old nicad days, only a couple companies make the batteries. So the gensAce could very well have the same cells as a promatch. In the old days, the companies tested and kept the best cells for their "Race" packs and used the lower rated cells for the "sport" packs. It does not appear that companies bother with that. And since Orion has the only 90c packs, I find something suspect about that. I would imagine reedy and other top sellers would have access to those same cells. But in my opinion the gensAce are very good batteries and will suit the needs of 80% of the racers and 100% of the people on a budget.

Lipo media changed at a rapid rate early on. At first I was replacing packs because the quality/performance was better with the newer packs, not because mine were getting old or "soft"
Not the case so much anymore. Age of my packs vary from a year to almost 2, with very little IR increase on the old ones (10-11mv up from 8mv on my Hyperion) I don't feel any performance loss, which is harder to notice running mod.

Also, I can feel the promatch and the gensace soften up 4 minutes in. Since the voltage drops the entire time, I would expect them to soften. And with my 65C promatch, I sometimes like it to soften up a little because it has way more punch than my 40c gensace.
