Need a little gearing advice.

Looking to give the 13.5 no timing buggy class a try.

A friend loaned me a Thunder power 13.5 Z3R.

Track is meduim size with a fast straight and a decent size triple.

What am I looking for with the gearing?

Been running 23/81 with a Hobbywing 8.5t...

The X4 can only do 6amps IIRC. Used to have it and got rid of it because it could only charge at 1c.

I dont think anyone makes a 4 port that does 10amps.

I picked up the ThunderPower TP820CD. 20 amps gets it done Only charged at that once. And that was with a TP battery as well. They guarantee their batteries will charge at 12c with their charger and I was in a big hurry so I thought I would try it once. Anyhow I really like that charger. Checks IR as well.

If this is regarding the rear hub, the guys at ocrc told me to run it in the stock worlds location but sold me a shorty ae ball stud for the inside mount to get it as low as possible.

What shock oil do I need not sure if any comes with the kit what would be the best for a medium sized track clay. I'm running the V2 shocks What weight oil front and rear? Also what spring set would y'all recommend I've looked at the Avid spring sets just not sure?
Thanks

You're right, it fits, but the V1 (aka B44) spring has a different spring rate. It's softer so you can thread the lock nut on further before it is properly adjusted. My V2 spring was so stiff that I could barely get the lock nut on. Even a new lock nut. It kept backing itself off and slipping bad. My guess is that my new spring hasn't been compressed as much. Maybe if you can't find a V1 spring, lock your V2 in a vice at say 50% compression over night and see how it is then.

I got lucky cause I had an old spring in my box.

I have those batteries for mu truck(even though I just switched to shorties in that car) and the cord in the pic plugs into the side, or you can get these extenders for where the balance plug plugs into. And I charge my batteries at 5.0 A 7.4 V and it works fine
