They are a very reputable company that has been around for many years making great aftermarket solutions to shortcomings on other vehicles. They just released their first kit with the EB48, which is hands down the best 1/8 e buggy out right now. This is there first 4wd sct based on their proven EB48 1/8 platform.

Buy it with no worries. I sold my losi 8ight to buy a Tekno EB48 and never looked back. The Tekno is better in all aspects and I do mean all! After two nights of running the EB48 I sold my losi SCTE and I am waiting for this truck now.

Just sold my very hopped up Durango 4x4 too.

the main thing that I see as a benefit besides the obvious is that Tekno stands behind there products and are active on the forums. They don't hide and quietly update a part.

As for places for preorder, stormerhobbies is one. You can technically pre-order from tower but the price right now is out there. I think someone said they called them about it?

I have rebuilt them a few times and every time I opened them up they were just as full when I built them in the first place. My last 4x4 took me a few months to dial in. This truck took me a couple days of setup and I was laying down consistent fast laps. Can't wait to run the sct410 in the top notch series on December 1st at SDRC. So come on down have some fun racing.
What parts wear the most. Something has to be susceptible to breakage or it's not normal.

It was noticeably better at times, identical at other times. You were right, whenever I was bottoming out a shock I was having issues.

Still though, there are other times where the shock is not fully compressed that I'm having a bit of traction loss. I need to get a better understanding of what I'm feeling because I don't have a way to communicate what I'm feeling right now (still a bit noob at this).

Thanks for your help, hope Thanksgiving was awesome. I'm heading to the track today, if you happen to be there we'll talk more.

I am constantly testing this truck 4 to 5 days a week and haven't put much wear on anything. Just normal wear on drive train. My eb48 is the same way and I have ran countless batteries through it. I can tell you that the day I got the truck I never wanted to drive my old 4x4 again.

Lets just say there's nothing normal about this truck. We have been racing 1/8th scale and 4x4 short course for quite a while and combined everything into this truck. From the 16mm shocks, beafy a arms to the drive line components we are famous for. It's pretty impressive.

I can honestly say that I've raced it for two months and probably put 100 packs through it and have not broken a thing! Other than the body falling apart from the abnormal amount of runs (Riceman to the rescue), the truck is still in great condition.

I take that back I did break one thing but it wasn't Tekno. I broke a Durango aluminum turnbuckle we were durability testing. Probably not a good idea to use those. Not sure if they are 7075 or just 6061.

Can you give me an idea of what I'll have to do to get the weight under 6 lbs, preferebly closer to 5.7 lbs?

Using a regular 6-6.6 mah lipo.

Can't wait to tear up some outdoor with this bad boy...
