RC10B4.1 FT/WC
Interesting, I ran 22/81 @ IRH with 30 on the motor and boost 1 on the LRP, and I was as fast or faster than other 13.5s down the straight, I ended up turning my throttle expo to 35 to get some dead space on the trigger.
Could someone share some info on a good starting shock setup on the worlds car. I run on a indoor medium to high grip track fairly smooth with a good size triple and a smaller quad section. Are the stock springs in the kit a little weak? I tried the stock setup in the manual but doesnt seem to work that great. Any help is appreciated. Also the temps are around 30 to 40 degrees

Because they are neutral and smooth on medium grip surfaces? Never too agressive that it is undriveable. I have put them on several peoples car and they always like them. And in Chads defense, he runs very similar to what all the other factory guys are running at the moment.

My issue with copying a setup, any pro's setup, is if they are actually honest about their settings. What are you going to do, open their shocks to see if they REALLY had #2 pistons all around? lol I'm not sure I'd want to give out all my secrets if that was me. I'd want to keep something for myself.
I did more testing in the stick pack vs shorty realm.. Short pack is 100g lighter than the fantom 100c pack i was comparing against.
Shorty- black AE springs front and rear, the car worked well but was a little soft and slowish lap times. Same went for losi red front and white rear BB springs
Shorty-black rear and green front AE springs, Perfect! well, close to it. Ran the fastest practice laps of the night, had very little push and i had more control than ever. Might go down 1 step to 27.5 front oil and 25 rear oil tomorrow and test.
Stick pack-Green springs front and rear made the car push too much. Went to white front and green rear and improved. Car still felt heavy but lap times were improved from the other stick pack test runs
In the end i stuck with the shorty for another day, green front and black rear springs, AE BB shocks, 32.5/27.5 oil, 1.6 pistons, 24mm ride height, battery had only 1 pad in front, big foam block in back. It feels very responsive and the lap times showed it, can't wait to race tomorrow!

Just got a worlds car and it doesn't have the supplement instruction page about installing the ballast weight under the rear shock tower. I put it in there but it seems to move around quite a bit when I am moving the car around. Is it supposed to be double taped down to keep it still?
Sorry for such a dumb question, I did a search and came up empty handed...

Looks like Tresrey is jumping in the B4 game now with a new off-shoot company Yaiba.
