Aric Seffrood is using a cut up pepsi bottle - I'm sure you will be fine.

Here is a example of a shock tower cover. My shocks are on the rear of the tower so I bolted it to the front and bent it back and I put some vinyl over the front bolts. If you have the shocks up front start from the back bend over the top then down over the shock caps done.

The buggies looked very cool indeed! I stayed long enough with Miles to watch a heat of everything. The only thing I haven't seen so far is what motors fit the track. I'm guessing 13.5 or 10.5 is more than enough power.

Thanks.

so....i ran cut staggers in yellow, no insert..in the front, i have not tried the dboots blockpass yet...i will saturday,
i did try dboots terra bites in the rear as i spun a rim on my shumacher tires...
i liked them....i tried shuie mini pins on the front, the car was driveable, but it had incredible steering...very twichy...
car was better with some of the changes i made...
as for tires, i dont thik you ca go wrong with either...

Miles starts his first kit build tomorrow, a TLR 22 buggy. Mine doesn't come in to PHC until Tuesday. We should be ready for the buggy class in a couple weeks once all the components arrive and get put together. I still have to order tires and possibly batteries. I like the thought of using shorties. We're going to try Hobbywing Xtreme ESCs and Xerun 10.5 motors. I've had great luck with their Justock ESC in other cars. I hope its not too much motor for the track though.
