It's hard to say at this point. I seen Schumacher mini pins, Jc barcodes, Losi ifmar mini pins, and blad tires with some paragon on them and thay all seem to work fine.

Aric Seffrood is using a cut up pepsi bottle - I'm sure you will be fine.

Here is a example of a shock tower cover. My shocks are on the rear of the tower so I bolted it to the front and bent it back and I put some vinyl over the front bolts. If you have the shocks up front start from the back bend over the top then down over the shock caps done.

The buggies looked very cool indeed! I stayed long enough with Miles to watch a heat of everything. The only thing I haven't seen so far is what motors fit the track. I'm guessing 13.5 or 10.5 is more than enough power.

As far as life of tire do think dBoots or mini will last longer? The minis seem to wear pretty good. I know it's early but IYO.

Miles starts his first kit build tomorrow, a TLR 22 buggy. Mine doesn't come in to PHC until Tuesday. We should be ready for the buggy class in a couple weeks once all the components arrive and get put together. I still have to order tires and possibly batteries. I like the thought of using shorties. We're going to try Hobbywing Xtreme ESCs and Xerun 10.5 motors. I've had great luck with their Justock ESC in other cars. I hope its not too much motor for the track though.

The new buggies are ready for soldering, tire gluing and paint. They should be ready for Saturday.
