Stay away from grease. It some how finds its way into the ball diff and can lead to slipping. I have found this out the hard way.

I for one am a fan of lemon pledge. Four shots around the diff gear help with noise reduction.

Try white lithium grease. Place little dabs on four equal spots around the diff gear. Smooth spinning and quiet. Never interacts with the diff lube but sticks to the gears.

The grease is for the thrust balls, and I've never had an issue with it getting into the rest of the diff. Just use enough to cover the thrust balls that sit inside the washers/shims whatever you want to call it. And the sticky that is the first post on the electric/offroad section has a good video guide on how to build/break in your diff.....

Will 3x6x1 washers work for ball studs?

I use a VERY small amount of Stealth diff lube on the gears. My diff is still super smooth after 6 months of racing. My diff was built with AE ceramic diff balls and AE carbide thrust balls. It was broken in prior to its installation in my car.

I just recently got my RC10B4.1 and was wondering about some stuff.

I just took my car out for the first time today and it was fun running it but I notice when I tried turning both rear wheels together, it was very tight and when I ran it I notice the noise sounded like screeching and gotten louder than box stock.

I also don't like the servo from box stock, just slow and radius is horrible. I was wondering on what you guys recommend to replace in the B4.1?
Is the savox sc-1257TG recommended? It's fast, titanium gears, and high torque for this 2wd car. Also does anyone know if I need a BEC or whatever? I notice in my vorza I needed one since it would shutoff randomly and come back.

Thanks

plus 1

recommend to everyone don't use anything else

reason ?

Other lubes risk contaminating the diff grease .

waitress at the pizza house ask's ...

What are you guys doing tonight ?

You need to check out petitrc and start completely over with a carpet setup from there.

If you push on every surface you run on, it's unlikely it's just a setup issue... Is your servo saver glued or are you using an aluminum rack? If not... There you go

As other guys stated the black grease is for the thrust balls. I was saying don't use it as gear lube inside the gearbox. Follow the videos posted and you'll be golden.

Reedy Sonic 7.5T would be the best 2WD mod motor available from Team Associated right?
