Stadium trucks are big again at WCRC and most of the drivers prefer the long sticks still. Seems to setting the truck down which you can drive it faster.

I suggest to try it and see for yourself. I run it long in my T4.1 and a shorty in my B4.1.

confused here, going to run JC Mono Hex on t4.1, on AMain it says to use the sc10 rear hex all around, and on Brent Thielke setup sheet it says buggy rear hexes , not a ton of width difference but I don't want to use the wrong ones

So i did decide the heck with it and tried the first part of the 'fredswain' setup method. I ended up with a setup very similar to Ryan Cavalieri's nationals setup with the springs I have right now. I have to say it is very good, at least better then what I had on it before. Although it seems to feel a bit "short", almost like it isn't very stable and can easily flip over. This might be because of the fact that I'm using a set of old Losi wheels in the rear that give the truck a slightly narrower width in the back, but I thought I would see what you guys have to say first.

lol, it is as wide at is it long. Of course it is short, lol. But it is 80% tire. When ever I get loose and give it throttle it straightens out. It turns on a dime though and more stable than an sc10 imo.

Yep, that's all true. Must be the result of running 1/8th scale too long lol.

Thanks guys!
Time for me to buy a 100C Lipo. I didn't want to buy the "standard" battery then find out everyone started running the "shorty".

The t4 is pretty nimble as it is. I can see why a shorty would be unnecessary.
