Not really needed but in hard crashes they can break. They do wear out over time as well.

ASC9713 - Front Blukhead http://www.teamassociated.com/parts/details/9713/
ASC9726 - Rear Plate http://www.teamassociated.com/parts/details/9726/

Sorry, but are you saying that it's difficult to remove the pinion gear that is attached to the motor ? I'm just starting my 44.2 build now, but I have a 44.1 that I am very familiar with, and I have zero issues changing a pinion quickly and easily. The only thing I need to do is looses the 2 motor clamp screws so I can set the mesh correctly, but other than that, I can get to the set screw on the pinion w/o any issue while everything is still mounted as if ready to drive the car. Can you take a pic to show/explain what you mean ?

Why wouldn't it be ? It's just a motor speed dude. Same size & dimensions as a 17.5 or a 5.5 . ROAR Nationals ran a stock 17.5 NT 4wd buggy class. Although majority of folks run mod.

Some people start off with slower motors in 4wd buggy to get a grip on things. A lot of recommendations for 10.5 if you're looking for fast but under control to learn on. I just dropped a 6.5 in mine and drove it slower to learn, then started winding it out as I got more comfortable.

More stability, more grip, same ole steering. Sounds like winning to me. I think im just gonna slowly upgrade my 44.1 to this. First thing towers, front arms & vts slipper.

I ment more of a heating issues trying to turn 4 wheels with a stocker. Kinda like how you cant run a 13.5 in a sc10 4x4.

Default Tires

My kit did not come with tires just rims. I run indoor only so its not that I will use them any way. Did any one else have this happen.

Yes, they usually have a stacked class at cactus classic of 13.5. But you are correct they battle over heating motors all day.

I am new to the 4wd buggy. For some reason my rear shocks are tight as i pushed them down. Could this be because of the roll bar? Or did i do something wrong?

Hey there all, soooooo can't wait to start building my B44.2, do I need to glue the edges of the carbon on the chassis, top decks and shock towers? Any other tips for the build?
Cheers
