I'm sure the C rating is correct. He let you know the mah was off therefore the reduced price. I'm sure you're running current batteries that aren't what the label states but that manufacture sold them anyway.

This is getting to be like a "which ESC is better" discussion.

Never have had a issue and run strong in stock and mod at 1H. They even stock them there. Talk to Vareck.

I bought that one, and the full size 6000mAH 65c 2s for myself

I paid $6.28 shipping for both, and it got here in exactly 5 working days from the US warehouse. So far i've put at least 20 cycles through the shorty, and well over 30+ cycles through the 6000. Neither of them are puffy, and neither feel any different than the 1st time I ran them. I've been VERY impressed to say the least.

and from my limited experiences, and talking with people that know wtf they are talking about....puffed batteries are operator error 100%. Lipo's don't puff when used in a proper "system".

Just got my buggy and all I use is Gens Ace batteries wont using shorty packs make the buggy too light. What is the advantage of va shorty pack vs a reg pack

I use gens ace 4000 30c full size packs. I have a shorty but I use it in my 22T. I prefer the full size pack more because it gives me more rear traction at my local track. I could see a shorty being better for me on a high grip surface.

Just my .02

the choice of topic seems to come in waves. everyone rides that wave until a new topic is discussed. Too much time on people's hands.

Ok, fine, new topic.
AE released another new car & it's not a b4.2/b5/t4.2/t5. Aaarrrggg! It's an rc10r5.1 pan car. Wahoo, yet another car from AE I'll never see, much less own.

With only 1 car left from the rumored 6 car release that all but kills the idea of a b4.2 coming any time soon (due to needing 2 releases for a "t" & a "b"). I'm moving my money to the next chance being right around worlds next year & it either being either a b4.1/2 Ryan Whatever edition with a win or a b5 with a loose.
