ok guys, need feedback..... It's finally time for me to start looking for a new radio system. My old M11 with the spektrum module is getting a little long in the tooth...

I know the obvious choices are M12 and 4PKS. I am leaning towards the M12 but to be honest, I don't know that I need that level of radio. Do any of you guys have any experience with the MT4 and 4PL? Could you share your thoughts on them?

Not looking for a bash fest or a fanboy diatribe. Just want some opinions from real racers that I can utilize in my decision making process.

The MT4 & M12 are very similar , 4 has the wheel up higher and you will notice it compare to your M11 .

the M12 is more responsive , faster .....

If your a serious racer ? suggest Get the M12 , well worth the extra dollar's ...

futaba is good , not he same as your M11 though , trigger compartment & throw is different .

Serious, yes. Good, no LOL. I mean if it comes down to it, I'll wait and spend the extra money for the 12. I just wasn't sure that the difference between the 4 and 12 would be enough for me to notice. Although I just realized that if I got the 4, I would end up having to get the FHSS receiver too so that makes it the same cost as the 11x (400).

speed difference is not deal breaker , the MT4 is fast .

The drop down wheel the M12 & 11 share is the biggest difference you feel when you drive either .

If you don't attach the drop wheel on the M12 ? Mt4 feels about the same driving.

I am a proud owner of MT-4 and love it. It's not too sophisticate and not too basic. If you order it on tower It's 300 mins 40 = 260.00

Default M12 and AE is not straight forward

Bob, you want the m12.

AE just realeased the RC10R5.1 yesterday. It is based off the three month old RC125.2.... go figure.

It might be called something like the b4.2 or????? Really, just run what you have and be sure that in a month(or 2 or 3 or 4) there WILL be a replacement.

Im running my b4.1 ragged until the wheels fall off and then getting the kit with big bores. It's fun to watch my camber teeter by 3 or more degrees, I can finally blame the car!

My b44.2 has fantastic looking plastic(new?) and I hope that will be the real game changer with the newest 2wd from AE, not whatever chassis material they end up pleasing the customers with.

Bob, again: Get the M12.

Bob, if you are not wasteful like me and have to have the newest thing out I would just buy the M12. I'm sure you can make it last for 5 or more years thus justifying the cost. The receivers are super nice too. You you can wait until a m12x comes out and I will make you a deal on my M12. Ha. The one other thing to consider is the cost of the recievers. I dropped a good deal of money to buy 3 additional ones. I'd buy a lightly used 11x before the lower end ones if money is tight.

If they release b4.2 and it's similar to the b4.1 and the differences are shock and mnor stuff I'm keeping my b4.1. And wait for the next buggy.
