If you're asking what my racing interests are...2wd buggy, Stadium Truck, and Wheeler...all Mod of course.

@ W.C. Short bus would be fine with me if the racing in that class, in my area, didn't suck.

I also do some carpet oval stuff more locally than my home dirt track.

Sc or any class is what you make of it ..

Now seeing many good racers , some even experts just beginning to really enjoy the Sc class these days .

I worked hard right from the start of Sc what , four years ago ?

My best to help promote it .

Knew it would be a very important class for our sport .

Even like to feel I had a small hand with all
the Sc success seen @ TRCR and the N/w ....

Our sport needed a full body off-road vehicle bad...

Now a beginner can enjoy flying at speed with out breaking
after just a few laps .

"a fact of r/c life"
New racers = new blood to help pay for the overhead and keep our fun alive..

We're jacking this thread but...W.C.

Like me you prefer mod buggy correct? If so you would like the fact that while stock SC has flourished for the last couple years at my track the vast majority of those drivers saw the racing and skill of our mod buggy drivers and wanted to be "that guy". And many have moved to that class, so many in fact that we now offer an intermediate buggy class (not a stock class) for those up and coming drivers.

I'll say AGAIN, promote and help new people no matter what class you prefer, even if you hate the class that all the new people at your track run. Someday if you're lucky some of them will move to the higher skilled racing class that you prefer. More competition = more fun.

Again I agree with you Cherry, our sport needed the SC class and I give Traxxas the credit they deserve. I support new drivers as much as I can even if they run a class I don't prefer..

Its right next to me , cutting a new wing for as we post .

Still , the Sc is way fun too....

my point exactly, by us it's not a fun class for "racers"

it's our "sportsman" class.. you don't run that class do you George?

Does anyone know a part number for a shorter slipper tension spring on the VTS slipper? I put one on tonight and fear the nut will back off. I had to turn the plastic lock side towards the slipper just to get it to slip.

Any input on soaking o rings for the new BB's before building so they swell and seal better. I'm not convinced that the bleeder screw o-ring is the issue some are having. For me when I built mine the smaller shaft size may have been the issue. Mine showed "weeping" when built even without the "pump up" some have had..

Can they be shimmed tighter till they swell on a new build? Maybe one thin shim tighter? I haven't got to build any yet.

Now your crazy talk-n ..

Having various levels of racers in the 4W SC class makes it just like old days ..

Takes experience & good driver etiquette in order to win the class with the respect of the other racers ..

You have a lot to learn

Follow the directions , take care to remove any flash on the hat bush & spacers .

Oil O-ring's first on

spring retainer
cap
bleed screw

before threading .....

No soaking ! , my rings are 2 weeks old i think , some stick occuring now ,will be replacing rings Tuesday ...

Well had fun at the track tonight. We got a new layout, so I thought I would share my b4 run. I finished dead last, so yeah lol. But the track was fun.

no idea, when I did mine (week ago) I knew, regardless of rebound, I would have leaking issues. I had almost zero "sticktion"........my guess is that now that they sat a week they will be good..I hope
