1268 savox is pretty badass and affordable. The ko are great, too, for twice the money. hitec 7955, 7950 also good. I have them all, and like the savox best at either steering or throttle

I have 6r eu spec and 6r us spec. It's a complete diffrent feel one to another.

What is the diffrent beside white carbon, light weight axle, and +1+2 hub?

The eu spec is easier to drive. It has alot of traction even in very loose track.

Is there any diffrent in the crown and pinion gear in us spec? I havent count it yet but u will later. The chassis is it the same? Thanks

Have used Savox 1267's for the past couple of years, been very reliable. One did die on me, so have retired the working one to the spares box.
Currently using Hitec 7945's, very impressed with them so far a lot of my mates swear by them.

i switched from 1267/1268 to brushless 2273. you will never look back !

for mugen also change to truggy servo safer spring (silver) you will gain steering & less fading in long finals.

EU Spec chassis is the same overall length, but everything between the 2 gearboxes has been moved back by 2mm. The front centre driveshaft is longer to make up for this.

EU Spec also uses the 42/12 internal ratio (crown/bevel) instead of the 44/13 (MBX6/6R/6R US).

Last difference is ther rear tower has an extra outer row for the rear link.

Has anyone used the M2C hinge pin system? Do they help performance and make the car easier to work on?

Yes been using them for years, great stuff! Make it quite a bit quicker to work on also!

Highly recommend the M2C system for front and rear. A lot easier to work on and very durable. Almost 2 seasons of racing on it with not one bent hinge pin.

HI TRF415

You have said a few times you think the EU chassis is better, as opposed to changing to a EU chassis do u not think a similar weight balance could be acheived with a US +5 chassis by moving the RX battery, or adding some weight in rear ?

No you cannot, because even if it may be the same mass balance in static, it is not the same dynamically.

Can anybody tell the difference? Really....
just busting your chops lol

I love in the us, and run the us spec, and it's been awesome. I'm sure the eu spec would also be awesome. As to where each would be optimum... Who the hell really knows. They are really really close imo. It's 8th scale, not on road.
