Default Mylaps Transponder Clone

Hi guys,

Is it possible, or has anyone heard that you can get an AMB Mylaps Transponder cloned?

Thanks

MRT makes clones, you just send in your amb and they will clone it so all your transponders will have the same number.

yes you will.

IIRC, Mylaps will do the same thing.

Actually can't you contact Mylaps give them your PT number and they'll make you more with that number?

MRT needs you to send it in so they can get the frequency from it. Where as Mylaps already has it since it's theirs.

The old AMB transponders can be cloned by MRT, the new RC4 MyLaps can not be cloned.

After a two year delay, MyLaps are now saying we should soon be able to order more RC4 transponders with a sub number, which is nice, but took way to long to bring in, and they have yet to say how much.

I believe it when I see it. As you indicated, they've been dragging their feet with the R/C market. I get the feeling that once they got into "real" motorsports that the R/C products became their red headed step-child. "We'll get to it when we get to it".

MRT transponders are available thru a couple US retailers now so you'd have to start there.

I don't think so. MRT has some U.S. distributors but are still made in Europe.
