Recommend using the instructions as a guide for set-up & installation .

Suggestions for set-up...

Ft

Ae green spring , 30w , 3 x .030 limiter , 1.6 piston

Rear

Ae white spring , 27.5 w, 2x.030 limiter, 1.6 piston

Will repeat , The new Ae BB springs R dialed...

Installation tips

I used the .090 spacers included on the shock tower screws , no time to grind the towers before the race...

Will be grinding the towers later , using a .030 spacer on the tower screws.

Will save grinding less material from the towers...

O-Man !
The Ae Rc10 B4.1 8mm ?

Now easier to drive & faster for everyone ....:nod

Awesome work Ae !!!

Would you suggest a similar set up for a T4? I asked on the T4 thread also but there is not as many people/opinions over there?

Basically what the world's kit did. Take what everyone was using and throw it together.

The 1st place guy went from mid corner and pinched down toward the pipe giving Ruona almost nowhere to go. HOWEVER, if you look at a freeze frame 10 seconds in you can see Ruona turning right into the left hand turn which sends him right into the 1st place guy. The driver's stand is to the right of this camera position it looks like, so he could see exactly where he was going.

I can't tell if it's shady or just an accident.

This is the kind of thing that happens every week in club racing. The race director probably should have had a restart for a big race.

So my question to you guys is: It's a big race and this happens to you. If you come out ahead do you keep going?

And does it matter if it was an accident or intentional? I'd say most of the time, they're accidents. Doesn't make it okay to just keep going.

I thought it was an accident until I saw his wheels turning right at the start of a left hand turn. We are breaking down something that happened in like 1 second though. It's possible he saw his line cut off and was trying to swerve back to the outside.

So I suppose at the end I am taking both sides of my own argument.

So yeap, big bore talk can resume. BIG BORES BIGBORESBIGBORESBIGBORESBIGBORESBIGBORESBIGBORESBI GBORES.

Woah, didn't mean to start a big argument on the rights and wrongs of racing! Lol!

Anyways, I agree with FLHX1550.

I just wanted to know what would be a good starting point for AE big bore springs at my local track!

Default Made the jump to 2wd Buggy!

I finally got a B4.1 FTW and I have mounted plenty of 1/8 and SCT tires but never any 2wd Buggy tires. Anyway I looked around but couldn't find any basic guide or best new mounting tricks for 2wd and just curious if anyone can help me out with a link or a little info? Do you puncture tires just like all others(I do one on each side instead of center.) and whats a good way to trim open cell foams for 2wd front and rear? Thanks!
