Last night I noticed my SC10 rs looked like the rear end was sitting lower than it has in the past. Then watching it race, it looked sort of bouncy in the rear. Is there something I can check to see if it is OK? Also, what would this be, rear springs or oil? I'm running all the stock stuff, green in rear silver in front. I haven't done anything to the suspension since I bought it a couple months ago. Thanks, as I'm still new to this.

Also, my rear wheels are wobbly from getting dirt inside. I've since put four small holes in the center-line of the tire, and this got the dirt out, but I think the rims are still wobbly or warped so they probably need to be replaced. They are hex, if I replaced them with non-hex what would the disadvantages be other than the inability to switch front to rear - vice versa? Or is there anyway to fix a wobble by checking the hex mount or rim or something? Maybe the hex is not flat against the rim making a bit of wobble...anyone have experience with this?

Turn you truck upside down, wait a second then lightly push on the wheels to see if you are low on shock oil. You will likely feel a sudden point where the piston comes in contact with the oil after a short motion.

Springs can take a seat over a period of time where they find their natural state after a little bit of use. Check ride height often - It makes a difference in handling!

With the stock SC10 rear hubs carriers, the inside and outside bearings are the same size. However, with the B44 hub carriers, the inside bearing is the same size as the stock SC10 inside bearing, but the outer bearing (the one that kept blowing out) is significantly larger on the B44 hub carriers. Therefor, they hold up better. So, yes, if you install that upgrade... it is likely to fix your problem.

If you are looking to do this conversion, you will need to buy AE B44 rear hub carriers (or an aluminum B44 rear hub carrier, such as AE F.T. ones)), 1 set of the AE outer bearings, and 1 set of the AE crush tubes. As for the inner bearings, you would reuse the inner ones from your SC10 hub carriers. Let me know if you need anymore info regarding it
Hi,
Could you recommend AVID bearings for this conversion, inside and out as I'm a new to this...thanks.

Go to their site and click on bearings, on the left click on Kits, choose your vehicle and it displays all the bearings needed for your car and how many, you can then click on the individual bearing and choose how many you would like or purchase a complete kit for your car.

If anybody needs a good set of v2 shocks big bore spring ready let me know.

Pistons arent labeled as a 1,2,3. I believe the starting setup is 1.5mm front piston and 1.6mm rear

Ah, ok. Looks they use actual hole size than a number.

Shocks most likely wont be long enough, the gull wing design arms allow the shocks to be mounted lower which means the front shock tower can be mounted lower. so you would have to use the shock tower as well and that doesnt look too promising for the body mounts.
