My First Savy
#32
Ran the Savage again today before all the ran hit....truck took a lil bit of a tumble nothing serious but I noticed it wasnt turning as sharp as it had been...When I held it and turned the wheels it seemed fine but when I put it back on the ground and drove it, it wouldnt turn as sharp again. I was thinking the spline teeth on the plastic servo horn might have stripped but I havent taken it apart yet. I thought about just upgrading the steering but Im not sure wat to get...Any help guys?

I have a hump pack just need an adapter or charger for it..so that might be the reason the steering servo wasnt working properly...If that doesnt help I might have to look into buying a new servo. But hopefully the hump pack fixes that problem.
When I get sum more fuel Ill tweak the tuning to see if that helps with the shifting. My friend that owns a hobby shop told me that when I put the new pipe and header on it can cause the trans not to shift right and Id have to redo the tuning. So hopefully that helps out.
Thanks for all the help guys....any more info please send it my way lol

Ask and you shall receive. All of HPI's big blocks used the same boot and I think even the same carbs.
Check page 45 of the manual http://www.hpiracing.com/manuals/pdf/105644.pdf

Yea the Trenchers are great...didnt seem to lose any power that I noticed. I retuned it and it was fine. The ones I have are Part # 1184-11.
