me personally, loved spektrum radios till I kept getting annoying signal issues indoors. several people with spektrum all had it at the same spot. Switched to Futaba and others airtronics, no issues afterwards.
Anyone try a a less toe-in setting on a tight high bite track? Curious how it goes.

I'm sure the high end spectrum has the same features as the MT-4 and just as reliable reception, but...
The low end spectums are trouble. My friend had the dx3c that came with his rtr scte. That comes with the sr300 (where most of the problem lies), once more than 5(ish) drivers were on the stand he could not drive his truck. He was getting drown out by the better radios or something.
Out of the big name radios, I have heard more issues from spectrum than the others. If your not going to the track with many other radios transmitting, I won't matter much.
i had spektrum radios and the quality feels lower to me. plus a glitch/brownout issue on nearly every vehicle i had.
switched to the mt4 and I lLOVE it ! it is so nice, its worth it for the extra cash it costs and its not really that much. quality, fastest speed you can get, menu and controll is great! when I switched it was night and day. responce is so fast i was crashing into walls for the first 10 laps.!
you will have this radio for a Looong time, its gonna be like the real 1:1 car you drive all the time, ( something like a commuter or upscale comfort). worth it imo for the price.

I have experienced nothing but joy from airtronics over the years.

You ever gonna upgrade to 2.4ghz??

Honestly the price tag for the mt4 to me is well worth it over the spektrum, like others have already stated...... The spektrums are known to have interference issue's as well as they don't mix well with high voltage servo's like savox etc......... Another good option is the Futaba 4PL its what I switched to from spektrum and I would never switch back

Radios and electronics I tell everyone buy the high end always. These are items that get the most use so don't skimp. You can get the lower grade but why? Eventually you will probably need a feature it doesn't have and have to go thru the hassle of trying to sell it to buy what you should have bought the first time.

Ive ran spektrum dx3r and now the 3r pro for 4 years and have never had any interference issues. And for the past 2 years I've ran straight lipo with savoxs servos on my nitro cars without issues.I've just started running electric cars but so far no issues there either. If your buying the cheapest then you get what you pay for.I have always been a fan of airtronics but really for the features I actually use couldnt see paying the price difference.
