I agree , I also tried the stock timing board geared set in the middle ,fdr at a 4.2 and i was 3 tenths faster than with the green or yellow board with alot more rip and the motor never came off the track over 120 degrees.

is this normal upgraded everthing software wise on lap top
If you are using the REVENTON ESC, please update the LED card to the latest V1.3 version from the software that you have already downloaded...that should take care of the problem.

Do you update the LED box like you do with the hobbywing lcd box? If so try running the update a couple of times and see if that helps the issue.

Couple of weeks ago helped a friend with a speed passion GT esc as he wasn't getting any braking with it, after he changed the capacitors with no difference we tried the "fix" that works with hobbywing esc's
We set the brake force to 100% (up from 70%), and set reverse force to 100%. Even though the esc was in fwd/brake mode this fixed his problems and gave him ample braking.

Cheers
Rob.
Well, that is not really a problem...the REVERSE function has everything to do with the BRAKES...it is listed on the manual. When you are using brakes from 75% and up and mating with the reverse to 100%...you will have all kinda brake that you want in the world and you should be satisfied with the performance. This is not a hobbywing programmer card fix....you can do the same setting on the SP card and it will performs the same.

My brake setting for indoor carpet is always 100%/100%...for outdoor, I will trim down to 75%/100%....

Then start doing more racing and share with us of your motor/timing setting...

At the time this occurred we were at the track without the manual, I was unaware that this was listed and my friend may have overlooked that part in the manual.
The reason why I remembered about the settings was that I had read about it in the hobbywing thread.
Just putting it out there for other Speed Passion users that may have also overlooked this in the manual, and are wondering why their esc has little braking force.

Cheers
Rob.

Default Awesome Electronics

Hey all,
I don't want to bore you all with my whole background but,at the tender age of 47 I have seen a lot of racing, and a lot of escs.
And I think what Speedpassion has done is simply awesome.
To our own Ryan Maker,Andy Cooke,Simon Nicholson,Ari Bakla,Oscar Piastri etc,Speedpassion has given them the tools to excell in this awesome sport/hobby as well as all you guys from all over the world and the racing that I see on a constant basis blows my mind.
You guys are awesome,Speedpassion products are awesome.
The engineering, electronics, software and customer service is not unlike Apple products and you should all be congratulated.
I just want to go consistent first, then fast..........maybe one day....
Regards and well done,

i'm getting a TB-03 hopefully soon in the mail. it's my second car and i plan on running it stock for a bit just to get the hang of it. but pouring over the SP site i've seen a few things that i definitely want to invest in but have a few questions ..
#1 the Furai body, gorgeous definitely scooping one of those for the TB-03 chassis but i want some decent wheels too and i saw the Type-S tyres and wondering when they'll be back, how much for a set, are they good for the TB-03 and how will they be with the Furai body .....

#2 our racing up here for TC is limited to 17.5T - 21.5T depending on the race and location .. would a Reventon S 40A and the Ultra Sportman v3 21.5 or 17.5 be a good combo and what type of LiPo would i need for that ..?

thanks.

Default Software

Well now I'm the proud owner of a Reventon pro,and Bluetooth module.
But,I can't seem to find any software downloads or support for either item!
Is it because what I've got is up to date?
ANY ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I have an android device for B.tooth btw.
Thanks
Tim

To update the LED card, you need to connect the USB cable between your computer and your PC....then press and hold the RESET button on your LED card, then turn on your SP REVENTON interface program on your PC....on the left side of the screen you will see a "update firmware" icon...click on it and pick the latest one, which is the V1.3...then install.
