Last year I ran 1 set of solaris mediums all season and I plan to do the same this year.
Thanks again!! The solaris sound like the route to go.

Associated TC5, HPI McLaren Body painted by my friend Drop Some Gears. I think he got the "Papaya Orange" stock color preety good. I asked him to put the light buckets in it. Might not be the best for racing but I wanted a body that I liked so much I would drive better and not smash into my friends, so I got a nice body I don't want to mess up.. He had 4 white led's in the front I switched the outside ones to flashing yellow headlights. I also switched the tail lights from 5 mm to 3 mm I thought maybe it would look more scale. During these pics the wheels on the front were only 3mm offset now I have 6mm all around. Yes I'm going to race with the lights on, even if I donm't do well I thinkit will look cool.

Click on picture to play - it is video. Color in this video is off, probly my cell phone camera.

I agree!!!

I was worried other drivers would be distracted by my lights, but I asked them, and they said they thought it was cool and definately not to turn them off for racing. Several wanted to do the same for their next body.

Mine is an HPI 350Z, the 190MM version.

This is the one I did for my Tamiya TT-01. Its a local one chassis class that's popular. Could run it on my 21.5 USGT car too of course. Its the HPI NSX body in the 190mm width. Great body. Like the way it drives. I may put lights in this one eventually. Need to buy another set of them.

Ive seen this body in action...and it looks good on the track...not sure about how legal it is(for USGT)...but I guess its just as legal as the F1 Mccleran and Saleen...

I'm not sure either but our club has let me run it an it is the same shape as a Mclearen or a Saleen or even those Mazda Furai.
We call our GT class GT3 it's for brushed 27t tamiya j motors (silvercan). This class is cheap the motors $20 an ESC are cheap and it is big fun. I got my esc free from freind who converted a ready to run Losi buggy to brushless. I like racing this class more then my 17.5 TC!
